These bags just scream 'Spring!'. If only I had the money...

Tomorrow I am free from school. I think I am going to spend the afternoon baking a little or meet some friends. The sun is shining and everybody is outside, so I don't feel like making homework.

What happens when ginger girls take pictures around sunset? Indeed, their hair looks even more "orange" then usual. I kinda like it!

So my face is down on almost every picture. I guess I'll have to admit that I am still a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera. I had another shy/uncomfortable moment recently. While shopping I suddenly spotted one of the blogsters I've been following for a while. I ran out of that store as fast as I could. Silly me. Just got a little panic attack. I could just picture the scene in my mind: I say hi, and she thinks I'm a stalker.

Now I am going to work on a big, BIG assignment for school.

Nighty Night

It's been a while since I've last done a post on home/interior. I stumbled {literally, using stumbleupon.com} onto this gallery filled bedroom inspiration and I wanted to share my favorite images with you. I just love the calm vibe these rooms have. The enourmous amounts of light in the rooms, the white walls, the classic furniture, the vintage deco, ... everything is amazing. After watching these pictures I felt as sudden need to start decorating...

Kreativ Blogger Award

I am trying to restore my blog to it's essence again. I kinda felt like I was losing my way. And what better way to start this 'recovery' than with an award? I recieved a Kreativ Blogger award from Giulia, she's the blogster behind Fashion, what else? A blog I have been following since my blogger beginning. Thank you so so much for this credit Giulia! Let's keep our blogs rolling! 

So again, some facts about me {the best braintraining I had today}. Maybe about creativity?

I went to drawingschool in my spare time for 4 years. {officialy it was the academy for architectural arts, but that's sounds way to cool for what I did out there}. One of my friends at drawingschool had her own website. I became fascinated and soon created my own page. Since the age of 10 I am an active "website creator". I used to create websites on Imonline and msn groups. When these sites began to bore me I created my first blog with blogger. But it's only since last January that I started to take blogging more serious. Photography is my other creative hobby. Especially black and white photography. The city of Antwerp is my favorite subject. There is so much beautiful architecture. If you ever visit, you just need to see the central station. It's gorgeous!

Does anyone ever really read these 'facts about me' things? 

Maybe on a next occasion I can give my brain a rest and don't do them...
{I am such a lazy person}

Plaid Parade

Everyone needs one of these good old plaid shirts I think. Ever since mine lost all of it's buttons and it had become completely unwearable I have been on the look out for a perfect replacement. Since I did not yet find anything I liked in stores here, I thought I'd take a peek inside the Hollister collection.

Hollister is actually one of the brands my boyfriend wears a lot. His dad goes to America for work every once in a while and he sometimes brings home things from Hollister, A&F and Aeropostale. The last time he went he also brought me some jewelry from F21 (#) ^^ Since he is going overseas again in two weeks I was thinking about asking him to bring back one of these beauties for my wardrobe :) I currently am dying over the red/white checkered one!  x

Long time, no see

School is killing me. I had almost no time to see my girls the last semester, and this one seems to be even worse! As you might know I squeezed out for a daytrip to Bruges and the seaside last weekend, but that's not all I did. After years and years I finally made it to an art expo where one of my friends was featured. She has some awesome work, mostly photography and paintart. She is totally into the scene and I am an art rookie. Here I have some pictures of her exhibit room.

A Day In: Bruges (Belgium)

2 Belgian posts is one week. I feel kinda patriotic right now! Last weekend we visited Bruges, the same day as we went to Knokke. It was a nice sunny day, and so the streets were very crowded. Everywhere I looked there were tourists snappin' pictures of the typical architecture. I have some photos to share too. Not my best photography, but still worth sharing, in my opinion.

Remember my courageous trip to Leuven two weeks ago? Well, It went great! I did not miss my connection in Lier {I almost did though} And when I arrived there was a kind gentleman who showed me the way to the exit of the station {yes, I got lost in a trainstation}. I had a great time with my girl Jolien!

The day after I catched a train to Antwerp to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. As we were walking through the city I snapped these photos. Most of them were made at "Het Eilandje", a fancy neigbourhood with a lot of fancy restaurants and a fancy little port for fancy boats and incredibly fancy yachts. The last photo was taken by the boyfriend after he pulled the camera out of my hands, because I was calling the poor Panasonic names. Yea, I was still in that frustration outburst.

I am everything but a pro, but I am learining with every photo I make.

Yellow: Asos Wanted

It's Spring!

And that said, let's move on to this post. I am having yellow fever! This colour seems to draw my attention a lot lately. On my search for some lovely yellow items I stumbled upon Asos. They matched up to their reputation of having literally everything a girl wants in her wardrobe!

 

 

 

I had planned on joining the black and white week (starting today), a initiative of Chick On The Cheap and ... . I changed my mind after I found that I did not have enough nice black and white photography to share. I will however show you some of my latest black and white pictures in an upcoming post later this week. So that I've joined this event at least a little bit.
