The bright colours have been rocking the catwalks during the fashionweeks. Since I am not much into those, I go for a softer version: Coral. I would love to introduce this colour into my spring- wardrobe in a neutral, subtle way. Like with the basic tee from Dorothy perkins.
 The bag of Topshop and the YSL ring would be perfect to add a coral accent.

Double Bad News For My Wallet

1. Finally I will not have to travel all the way down to London anymore if I want something from Topshop. A store in Brussels is going to sell selected items from their collections ^^
Also Forever21 is opening 2 stores in Belgium and I have located a nearby Primark!
Yay for me! bad for my wallet.


2. I am very excited about this, but I can't tell you much about it at the moment, because we still have to make some arrangements. I will tell you more about it when we get closer to the date =) But I can tell you that it also is not good for my wallet!

Easy Going

I love this look by GAP.

A nice boyfriend jeans, easy stripes and a perfect fitting blazer.

I am a very basic kind off girl.

No bright leopard prints, killerheels and gigantic faux furs in my closet.

One Levi's skinny, a dozen basic shirts, a million cardigans, some warm knits and a few blouses.

Those are my favorite pieces (except for my dresses ofcourse)

Dress Number 24

Yea, I have a little addiction: Dresses. After today I own 24. Still 4 more, and I can wear a diffrent one, everyday of February. Sounds like a challenge to me! My next exam is on Saturday and it's an easy one, so I don't need as much time as given, and I decided to go check-out the spring-collections at the local stores. This new dress comes from zara, and I don't now why, but I believe I have seen it before...

My First Vintage Piece (What's In My Bag)

I bought this bag about two years ago at a little vintage shop. I had seen it in their etalage while I was in the bus on my way home. A few days later I got my mom to drive back to the store and luckily the bag was stilll there. It goes perfect with all the soft grey and other pastels in my wardrobe.
I wear glasses, but mostly when I go out I wear lenses, they are more comfortable and easy. You don't need to whipe 'em clean every 5 minutes or so. I do bring my glasses with me all the time because sometimes lenses tend to just fall out...

I discoverd the E-shop Ruche today. They sell items with a soft vintage flair.

Today I had my Political History exam, and while handing me my papers, the teacher noticed this  biggie on my finger. I must say he was quiet impressed with it's size.
The exam went great, I knew almost everything asked ^^
Now I am off, because in two days I have sociology and I need them good grades.

Bohemian Rhapsody

I noticed that I was falling in love with tribal jewelry and since I had these pictures stored in a map on my computer for some time, I thought today might be the perfect day to use them.
Next week I head to Brussels for some vintage and fleamarket shopping and I am hunting for a vintage purse and a tribal-inspired necklace.

My boyfriends dad went to Newark for work the other week, and I had send him out to find the turqoise necklace. I wasn't lucky, it was sold out! But I did get this awsome, realy realy BIG ring with a pretty rusty-orange stone =)

Oh, dear. I saw this bag in a post by The Vintage Valley and I knew I had to have it!
These camera totes are so much prettier than my ordinary darkblue cameracase + they have storage space for my wallet, a magazine, my cellphone, ... .
 The spicy yellow colour would suit my new Aaiko dress just perfect!

And just then, I remind myself I am on a clothing/shopping/spending diet ...
Such a bummer!

Dress Number 23: Sneak Peek

Okay, I said no updates for about two weeks, but I just had to share this with you!
My mom shut down my internet connection, but the school's library is still open.
What you see in the photo's is a sneak peek of the dress my mom gave me about two days ago.

I fell in love with this Aaiko dress in September. I had just gotten back from my trip to London where I went a little outrageous with the shopping and I had spend already way to much.
I had to leave this dress hanging for another girl.
I actually had almost forgotten about it, but suddenly two days ago, my little sister ran into my room holding this little beauty. It was a gift from my mom to support me while studying.
She's such a sweetheart! I love you mom! 

Oh, And now I have to run, the bus can be here any minute

Precious Time

Dear readers,

There won't be any updates for the upcoming to weeks (until about the 4th of Feb).
Due to my midterms, starting tomorrow, I need my precious time for studying and focus.
My internet is going to be closed off.
Don't worry, I'll be back in action as soon as I can!

Edit 17/01: I had my first examination today and I think it went well ^^
Now, I just got myself a computer in the school library (while waiting for the next bus) and I had this little idea for my blog. From now on you can see my latest wardrobe entries in the sidebar!
